Check List

__ Attend the STEM Fair Open House/Forum/Demonstration.
__ Choose a problem for your Science Fair project.
__ All Student Registration Forms are due in early December.
__ Start research (reading, asking questions) on a potential topic.
__ Submit Project titles by mid-December. Resubmit online.
__ Develop a hypothesis that you can prove with an experiment or observational study.
__ Plan your project and write methods/procedures to test your hypothesis.
__ Obtain the items required to perform the experiment(s).
__ Test your hypothesis {i.e., run your experiment(s), and record your observations}.
__ Analyze the data that you have collected from the experiment(s).
__ Organize data; create graphs, tables, charts, figures, etc…
__ Write your conclusion(s) – it is okay if your conclusion(s) do not support your original hypothesis.
__ Design your display (follow the Rules for Display use all of the Elements of the Display).
__ Prepare your oral presentation if you plan to speak with the judges.
__ Bring your display to school for set-up on the day of the Science Fair.
__ Present your project to the judges at the assigned time (if speaking with them).
__ Attend awards ceremony and collect your award(s).
__ Advance to Chester County Science Fair?
__ Celebrate your accomplishment!!!
